Lihtne kaelus, mis meisterdatud lõngasid tutvustava ürituse jaoks. Siin sain ära proovida Tiina Meeri raamatust võetud tähekirja. Inspiratsioon tuli kuskilt internetist kudumite pilte vaadates. Lõng Bergere - Cocoon.
A simple collar, that was made for a yarn introduction event. Here I could try out a star pattern taken from Tiina Meeri's book. Inspiration was gathered by looking pictures of knits in the web. Yarn Bergere - Cocoon.

Õlasall
Muster disainerilt Evelyn A. Clark - Heartland Lace Shawl. Lõng Grignasco - Cuzco 60% meriinovill, 40% alpaka. Sallile läks 45 grammi lõnga.

Boolero
Seekord läksin uut teed pidi ja tellisin endale lõnga Islandilt. Muster on võetud lehelt www.istex.is ning kasutasin originaallõnga. Islandi karmides tingimustes kasvanud lammastelt tuli ka päris karmikarvaline 100 % villane lõng Léttlopi. Minu lisand sellele mustrile on seljataga olevad lillekesed, mille lõin suurendades varruka otstes olevat lillemotiivi.
This time I used a different approach and ordered yarn from Iceland. The pattern is taken from www.istex.is and I used the original yarn. The wool from sheep grown in harsh Icelandic conditions is also rough - as it is 100% natural wool Léttlopi. My addition to the pattern are the flowers seen on the back that I created using the flower motifs on the edge of sleeves.

Vest/kampsun
Jällegi midagi Bergere ajakirjast. Töö juures on neid liiga palju ideid andmas. Tegumood on täpselt sealt üle võetud, aga sain end pikalt lõbustada mustri välja mõtlemisega - eriti erinevale palmikute katsetamisega. Lõngaks valisin Lana Gatto - Super Alpaca - 50% meriinovill, 50% alpaka.
Again something from a magazine by Bergere. There are too many of these at work, and I tend to get ideas form them. The style is taken over precisely, but I had a lot of fun composing the pattern. Especially with different cable patterns. Yarn Lana Gatto - Super Alpaca - 50% merino wool, 50% alpaca.

Triibuline kampsun
Midagi värvilist. Minu idee sai oma alguse ühest Bergere ajakirjast. Sealt tulid need laiad soonikud ja värvilisus. Kuigi tagantjärele minu valminud kudumit väga idee andjaga kokku ei vii. Ma tahtsin õhukest kampsunit ja kasutasin seega Lana Gatto lõnga Vip - 80% meriinovill ja 20% kashmiir, 50 grammis 200 meetrit. Vardad kehaosal 2,5 mm - soonikutel 3,5 - kuna seal kasutasin topeltlõnga. Ääretult pehme ja mõnus kudum.
Something colorful. My idea got its beginning from a magazine by Bergere. This is were the wide ribs and colorfulness came. Although afterwards it is not very east to connect the original idea giver to my sweater. I wanted a thin sweater and therefore used Lana Gatto yarn Vip - 80% merino wool and 20% cashmere, 50 grams and 200 meters. Knitting needles 2,5 mm on the body, and 3,5 mm on the ribs - as I took the yarn double there. Extremely soft and comfortable sweater.

Islandi pluus
Kuid muster on pärit just sealt. Mina kasutasin Alvita lõnga Erica - 50% villa, 50% akrüüli.
Iceland in mind ... although not with yarn from Iceland.
Thanks to the client, who came to search a yarn similar to the one bought from Iceland and left the yarn label to us - www.istex.is. I don't think I would have stumbled on that page easily by myself. The pattern originates from there. I used Alvita yarn Erica - 50% wool, 50% acrylic.

Jõulukingid
Lõpuks võtsin end kokku ja panin üles pildid detsembris tehtud jõulukinkidest. Sall on valmistatud sellisena, et klapiks kokku veebruarikuises postituses (2011) näha oleva mütsiga Olavile. Lõng on Katia - Andes, koostiseks 100% alpakat. Kui see kokku panna roosipuust varrastega, siis on tunne et ei soovi kunagi kudumist lõpetada. Sellest lõngast tuleb kindlasti veel postitusi.
Finally I pulled myself together and hung up pictures from Christmas presents knitted in December. The scarf is made to mach the hat to Olavi from February's post (2011). Yarn Katia - Andes, 100% alpaka. If I put that yarn together with knitting needles made from rosewood, I felt like I would never want to stop knitting. I will definitely have more posts with this yarn.
Roosad sokid on tehtud Dropsist võetud mustri järgi - kui välja jätta juurde meisterdatud tutid ja paelad. Lõng Alvita - Alpaka.
The pattern of the pink sock was taken from Drops - if I exclude the pom-poms and ribbons hanging there. Yarn Alvita - Alpaka.
Hallid sokid küll pidid ka Dropsi mustri järgi valmima, aga ega mustrist peale sääreosa midagi järgi jäänud. Lõng Katia - Peru.
Grey socks should have been made by a Drops pattern as well, but all that was left from the original pattern were the upper parts. Yarn Katia - Peru.
