Sügisesed sokid

Villase soki aeg on kätte jõudnud. Tegin mõned lihtsad ja kodused sokid :) Sinised on tehtud kaks lõnga kokku kududes Emmebi - Kiddy ja G-B Wolle - Sprint. Beežikad on tehtud Steinbach Wolle - Supersport Effektist.

The time for woollen socks is here. I made some simple and homy socks :) The blue ones are made by knitting two yarns together Emmebi - Kiddy and G-B Wolle - Sprint. Beige ones are from Steinbach Wolle - Supersport Effekt.

Laia kaelusega kampsun

Natuke boheemlaslik ja ilma igasuguste keskkoha kahandusteta kampsuni moodi asi. Kudumi mudel on võetud ajakirjast Inspiration nr. 103, kuigi kõik seal antud mustrid on ära vahetatud. Lõng Katia - Bamboo ning seda läks 10 tokki.

A sweater like thingy that is a bit bohemian and without any waist decreases. The model was taken from Inspiration nr. 103, although all the patterns on it have been changed. Yarn Katia - Bamboo and it took 10 balls.

Soe kampsun

Kampsun Olavile. Põnev projekt selles osas, et tahtsin teha seda ringvarrastega nagu ikka, samas lisaks pidi sisse tulema üks teistvärvi vertikaalne triip. Viimasel pildil on näha, et need kaks tahtmist kokku nõudsid teatavat disainielementi - ehk kaunistatud vorm selleks, et lõngad omavahel koos püsiksid. Tänud töökaaslasele, kes selle konkreetse variandi välja pakkus. Seekord ei kasutanud ühtegi mustrit ajakirjast. Lõngaks Katia - Peru.

A sweater for Olavi. An interesting project because I wanted to use circular needles, like usual, but at the same time there was supposed to be a different colored vertical line in it. On the last picture You can see that these two demands combined made a design element. Meaning that it was the prettiest version of getting two yarns stay together.  Thanks for my colleague for suggesting this particular move. This time I didn't use any patterns from magazines. Pluus ja kätised

Juuli teine projekt sattus olema suvine pluus. See näeb välja pidulikum kui ma algselt ette kujutasin, kuid tööga jäin päris rahule. Pluusi põhimuster on võetud Dropsi kodulehelt, kuid kätised on minu välja töötatud.Värvikombinatsioon on samuti minu valitud. Lisaks tegin kätised, mille mustri jätsin samaks. Kasutasin Steinbach Wolle puuvillast lõnga Capri.

The second project in July turned out to be a summery blouse. It acquired a more glamorous look then I imagined, but I am satisfied with it. The main pattern is taken from Drops webpage, but the cuffs are developed by me. The color combination is mine as well. In addition I also knitted cuffs in the same pattern. Used yarn Capri by Steinbach Wolle - 100% cotton.

Tänapäevane islandi kampsun

Vahepeal tuli soov teha üks kampsun. Mis sest, et talv on veel mägede taga ja kanda seda kohe ei saa. Sain selle kudumisega targemaks ja nüüd tean, et tegu on Islandi tüüpi kampsuniga. See tähendab, et kogu ülemine osa - varrukad pluss kehaosa - on pandud ühtedele ringvarrastele ja sealt edasi kootud. Varrukaotsad tegin aga erinevalt juhisel toodud tavapärasest soonikust hoopis alt laienevad ja kahekordse parempidise äärega. Kasutatud lõng Katia - Pima Cotton. Seda läks natuke üle 350 grammi.

For a change I felt like knitting a sweater. It doesn't matter that winter is ages away and I can't wear it anytime soon. I got smarter while knitting this and know now that it is an Icelandic type of sweater. Meaning that all the upper part - sleeves plus the body part - is put to circular needles and knitted that way. Sleeve edges were not done according to instructions - an ordinary rib pattern. I made widening sleeves with a twofold knitted edge. Used yarn Katia - Pima Cotton. It took a bit over 350 grams.

Rannakleit

Viimati valmis suvine rannakleit. Hea asi mida bikiinide peale panna enne randa minekut. Lõng on sarnane õlasalli omaga, kus peenike nöör vaheldub paksemate lõngajuppidega. Tootjaks Katia, nimeks Colibri. Seekord ei kasutanud ühtegi tegemisjuhist. Kootud nagu minu puhul ikka ringvarrastega, et ei oleks küljeõmblusi. 

Last completed work is a summery beach dress. A good thing to throw on bikini and go to the beach. This yarn is similar to the one used for the scarf, where a thin cord varies with thicker pieces of yarn. Product from Katia and named Colibri. This time I did not use any instructions. Knitted like usual with circular needles as to avoid stitches on the sides.

Kolmnurkne õlasall

Juunis valmis selline õlasall. Jällegi leiab juhise Liann Lõngade kauplusest. Mõnus sall külmemateks suveõhtuteks. Kasutasin Katia lõnga Temis.

In June I made a scarf like that. Again the instructions can be found in Liann Lõngad shop. A nice scarf for colder summer evenings. Used yarn Katia - Temis.

Pidulik käekott

Töökoha jaoks tegin sellise suvise kotikese. Juhis oli antud nende poolt ning Liann Lõngade kaupluses hetkel saadaval. Midagi keerulist ei olnud - kui just ei ole esimene kord sallilõngaga kududa ning on viitsimist voodrit õmmelda. Lõngadeks seekord siis Titan Wool - Egitto ja Katia - Sole.

I made this little summer bag for the workplace. Instructions were given by them and can still be found at Liann Lõngad shop. Nothing very complicated if it is not the first time to use a scarf yarn and if you want to bother with lining. For yarns I used Titan Wool - Egitto and Katia - Sole.

Heegeldatud vöö

Vahelduseks ka midagi heegeldatut. Vöö mille õpetus on võetud Helen Ardley raamatust Heegeldatud aksessuaarid. Nagu pealkiri ütleb on tegemist vaid ilusa aksessuaariga mitte tarbeesemega. Kasutatud lõng Steinbach Wolle - Capri.

For a change something crocheted. Instruction of the belt is taken from the book Crocheted Accessories by Helen Ardley. As can be seen from the name of the book it is only a beautiful accessory, nothing very useful. Used yarn Steinbach Wolle - Capri.

Satsilise äärega boolero

Tegin endale sarnase bolero nagu onutütrele. Põhiosa pehmest puuvillasest lõngast Katia - Pima Cotton ja ääris Katia sallilõngast Ondas.

I made a similar bolero to myself as to my nice. Main part is made from a soft cotton yarn by Katia - Pima Cotton and the edging from Katia's scarf yarn Ondas.

Boolero

Kingituseks oma onutütrele tegin boolero. Hästi lihtne mudel. Soonikkoes kootud ristküliku kujuline kehatükk, mis on pooleks murtud ja õigest kohast kinni õmmeldud ning sallilõngaga ääristatud. Kehaosa jaoks kasutasin Emmebi lõnga Baby Fresh. Kaela- ja seljaosa on ääristatud ühe suvise sallilõngaga Katia - Sole.

As a gift to my nice I made a bolero. A very simple model. Rectangular shape for body, that is folded into half, sewn together from the right place and lined with a scarf yarn. For body I used yarn Emmebi - Baby Fresh. The neck and back side is lined with a summery scarf yarn Katia - Sole.

Käepael

Midagi lihtsat, aga ometigi olulist. Punumise tehnika käis läbi mitmest blogist. Selle käigus kasutatakse ise tehtud papist ketast. Väga lihtne tehnika ja tulemuseks ilus ümar pael.

Something simple, but important none the less. This weaving technique was used in several blogs. It is made by using a self-made cardboard disc. Very easy way to make a beautiful round ribbon.

Kevadine pluus

Natuke midagi kevadisemat. Lõngana kasutasin ökopuuvilla, täpsemalt G-B Wolle - Bio Baumwolle. Juhis algselt võetud ajakirjast Inspiration nr. 103. Nagu ikka ei ole tehtud täpselt juhise järgi. Parasjagu on ka omaloomingut.

Something connected with spring. As a yarn I used eco-cotton, more precisely G-B Wolle - Bio Baumwolle. Instructions taken from Inspiration nr. 103. As always it is not made exactly by the book. It includes just enough of my own creation.

Mohäärist kampsun

See kampsun on tehtud kliendile ehk siis kujundatud tema soovidele vastavalt.  Esimene pilt on tehtud enne kui äärised said heegeldatud. Lõng Rowan - Kidsilk haze.

This sweater is made for a client - meaning designed by her wishes. The first picture is taken before edgings are crocheted. Yarn Rowan - Kidsilk haze.

Satsisalli proov

Hetkel löövad Euroopas laineid erinevad sallilõngad. Üks neist hakkas ka mulle silma. Väga lihtne kudumine, kuid piisavalt efektne tulemus. Lõng Katia - Triana. Ühest tokist piisab, et saada korraliku pikkusega sall. 

At the moment scarf yarns are causing sensation in Europe. One of them caught my eye also. Very easy to knit, but effective enough. Yarn Katia - Triana. One hank is enough to get a scarf with decent length.

Mütsid talveks

Ma ei ole küll suur mütsikandja, kuid siiski otsustasin ühe endale teha. Mütsi tegumood on võetud ajakirjast Käsitöö - sügis 2008. Samas tegi muster läbi teatud muutused. Lõpptulemusega olen päris rahul. Ja kuna Olavile eelmisel aastal tehtud müts on nüüdseks liiga välja veninud, siis ka tegin ka talle ühe - soovitavalt ilma paelata nagu ta tahtis.

I don't really wear hats, but I still decided to make one for me. The style is taken from magazine Käsitöö - autumn 2008. Some changes are made in the pattern though. I'm quite satisfied with the end result. And as the hat I made for Olavi last year has become loose I made one for him as well - preferably without the ribbon was his request.

Pajalapid

Midagi praktilist. Kodus oli vaja pajalappe ja lõngakorvis seisid mõned vanad lõngad. Väga palju vaeva just ei näinud nendega, aga vast sobivad.

Something practical. I needed potholders for my home and had some old yarns. I didn't put much effort in them, but they'll do.
